Chicken Shawarma


2 lbs chicken thighs

1 large onion thinly sliced

1 Knorr Seasoning Cube

1/4 cup olive oil

3 garlic cloves minced

1 1/2 tsp ground coriander

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp ground paprika

1 1/2 tsp salt

½ tsp turmeric

¼ tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1 mini cucumber sliced or cubed

2 small tomatoes cubed

1 head romaine sliced

½ small red onion sliced thinly pita bread

1/2 portion of tzatziki sauce optional


1. In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the marinade.

2. In a large bowl, add the chicken thighs, sliced onion, knorr seasoning cube and marinade. Combine and allow to marinade at least half an hour (or overnight).

3. Heat the grill. Once hot, add the chicken to the grill and cook 6-7 minutes per side until the chicken is cooked through.

4. Prep the vegetable by slicing and cubing and make ½ portion of mayonnaise.

5. Take a pita, add cooked chicken and top with veggies and mayonnaise.
