Knorr Moringa Fried Rice with Handallo twist

Preparation Time: 20 minutes | Cooking Time: 10 minutes | Serves: 4


Knorr seasoning cube 1

Cooked rice 400g

Hendello cleaned 150g

Grated potato 1no.

Onion chopped ½ no.

Garlic chopped 1 clove

Flour ½ cup

Turmeric ½ tbsp

Chili powder ½ tbsp

Water to mix

Oil to deep fry

Margarine 20g

Moringa leaves a handful

Salt and pepper to taste


1. In a bowl add flour, turmeric, chili powder and mix with water gradually to make a smooth batter. Now dip the hendello in batter and deep fry till golden. Then cut it into small pieces.

2. In a separate pan, melt margarine. Add onion, garlic and sauté till fragrant. Now add potato. And sauté for further 2 minutes. Now add the hendello, Knorr seasoning cube and rice. Mix well.

3. Finally add the moringa leaves. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
