Peanut & Butter Rice

Recipe serves: 4 | Preparation Time: 15 Minutes | Cooking Time: 30 Minutes


Cooked rice 500g

Peanuts grounded 100g

Knorr seasoning cube 1 no

Cloves garlic, chopped 2 cloves

B onion chopped ½ no

Margarine 20g

Soy sauce 3tbsp

A handful of spring onion leaves

Salt to taste

Shredded fried whole chili to garnish optional


1. Melt the margarine in a pan. Add the garlic and onion. Fry till fragrant.

2. Then, add the grounded peanut and cook over low flame for a minute. Add the soy sauce and and mix well. Season to taste.

3. Now, add the knorr seasoning cube and mix well. finally combine cooked rice, spring onions leaves and mix. Serve hot. Add a handful of peanuts for garnish if desired
