Savoury Chicken Kunafa


2 ½ cup vermicelli

¾ cup melted butter

250g boneless chicken

1 onion chopped

2 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp turmeric

1 tbsp pepper powder

1 Knorr seasoning cube

20 tbsp oil

200g grated cheddar cheese


1. In a bowl, crush vermicelli into small pieces. Add melted butter and mix well.

2. In a pan, add oil. Add the chicken, turmeric, chili powder, pepper powder and Knorr seasoning cube. Mix well.

3. In a baking tray, add a layer of vermicelli mixture, then add the chicken mixture. Next add a layer of grated cheese.

4. Then cover with the rest of the vermicelli.

5. Bake in an oven in 180 Celsius for 20 minutes.
